LightRoom has recently emerged as the answer to Photographers’ needs when it comes to rapidly processing multiple RAW and jpeg camera files to produce fine images.
LightRoom is really two products in one — a powerful RAW developer and color corrector for images plus an advanced cataloging program you can grow with.
Have a series of images with the same problem such as underexposure ? – simply fix one of them with Lightroom’s advanced tools then use the SYNCH button to apply the fix to similar images. Make virtual copies of images to create powerful B+W and Sepia toned versions that live conveniently alongside your original image. Use Lightroom to take images to PhotoShop’s unique editing features and back again to LightRoom with a few simple keystrokes.
LightRoom also offers the highest quality image correction of camera jpeg and RAW images without touching the original image itself so corrections can be made and undone without worry.
We will also cover — the useful LightRoom export feature, key features of the Print module, Slideshow and (auto) Website module. General computer requirements, storage discs and making backup CD and DVDs are also covered
Attendees may bring their laptop computers but it is not necessary.
