Get information that is useful in determining which digital cameras will suit your needs best while learning digital photography terms and techniques.
Basic camera settings and operation will be illustrated with photographic examples. Helpful tips on choosing memory cards ( the “film” of digital cameras) and how many pictures can be taken with a particular size of card are presented. Using the built in flash and better compositional picture taking tips are demonstrated with images.
Bringing digital images into your computer- for both Windows and Macintosh will also be discussed.

Richard Vallon Jr.
Richard Vallon Jr. received a BFA in Photography from ASU Tempe in 1981. He worked as a medical photographer at Ochsner Hospital from 1984 until 1990. Since 1993, he has owned and operated Orleans Photo Inc. He has worked for a long list of clients. Richard loves teaching beginning students who share his love of the new digital photography. His reward is seeing how his instruction helps their understanding of a sometimes murky art.
