Custom Hi-Resolution Scanning

When the absolute best scan is necessary for your project, Lakeside Camera Photoworks has the equipment and knowhow to wrest that last extra something from your originals.

When you choose our custom scan service, your slides, negatives and prints are captured to exacting standards and saved in the format of your choice. We generally recommend saving custom scans as tiffs to avoid the introduction of any compression. Negatives and slides up to 4” x 5” are captured on an Imacon Drum Scanner. Larger negatives, slides and prints are captured on our Creo flatbed and oversized works like paintings are photographed in our studio with high resolution cameras. This service starts at $27 per original up to 25 megabytes in size and we are capable of delivering files as large as 150 megabytes. This service is recommended for any images destined for publication or exhibition. We’re here to make your image look as good as it can!
